I'm looking for an industrial strength pressure washer and debating between cold or hot water. What is comparable?

Cold Water Versus Hot Water

If you're debating between pressure washers, consider what you'll be using it for. In most applications, cold water pressure washers work well and are less expensive. However, to cut through grease and oil, you'll to work with hotter water. Hot water pressure washers are also faster and more efficient units, especially when you combine heated water and detergent to clean surfaces. An industrial strength cold water pressure washer at 5,000 PSI might give comparable cleaning power to a hot water pressure washer at 3,500 PSI. Factors like the flow of water at gallons per minute, the type of cleaning application you're dealing with, the detergent you use, and any use of attachments will also come into play.
