Hot Water Surfaces

There are certain surfaces that react better to hot water than others. These surfaces can withstand hot water pressure washers to get the job done quickly and efficiently. Metals are a perfect example. Metals react to hot water in a way similar to the pores on a human face opening up to steam. This allows the hot water and chemical cleaner to penetrate deeper into the surface and remove dirt, grime, graffiti and anything else. Wooden surfaces do not react well to hot water. Hot water tends to have a warping effect on wood. It causes the shape and structural stability of the surface to alter and weaken. This is why you would use a hot water power washer to clean a steal door or wall, but you would not use one to clean a wooden deck or roof. So before you use your new electric pressure washer, make sure you know which temperatures the intended surface can withstand.
